All YouthPower365 Dollars for Scholars applications will be administered ON-LINE! This will allow you to complete your student profile/application on-line and apply for local, and some national scholarships, in one easy on-line application.
What's more, logging into the Student Dashboard will also give you access to volunteer and internship opportunities, important news about college life, and exclusive resources to help you manage your money, succeed in college, and take advantage of everything Dollars for Scholars has to offer.
If you're a parent, this is a great resource, too; if you're here to enter financial or other information for scholarships, you've come to the right place!
Basic Steps to the Student Application Process:
1. Create a login (Please use your personal email address, not your school address)
2. Create your profile. You will complete information in each of the groups listed below.
- Basic and Additional Info
- School Info
- Academic Info
- Activities, Awards, Employment
- EFC from FAFSA of CASFA is required
- Resumes are required for all applicants
- Essays should be 250-500 words.
3. Reference/Transcript Section > Counselor/Registrar Information: Request transcript from your school counselor.
*Request a Personal Reference from a person of your choice.
**You must complete the application, Transcript Request and Recommendation Request in order to be considered for a scholarship**
4. After your profile is complete, you will receive a list of scholarship opportunities. (Note: Your application must be 100% complete to be considered)
5. Click Apply to qualify for those scholarships.
6. Online Applications are due March 1, 2023 at midnight!
